That’s right dear friends … and then there were two. We’re down to the last two farmers markets of the season for the Cranky Crew. Now, we’re not going away. Oh no, you’re stuck with us. We’re just taking a breather from farmers markets for the season. We’re excited to spend some time in the kitchen this fall, experimenting and exploring with flavors. You’ll see us around this winter, oh yes, you’ll see us.

BUT

Until then, you best be showing up this Saturday at the Northeast Farmers Market and then AGAIN on Sunday at the Linden Hills Farmers Market. We’re scoopin’ at both from 9am to 1pm.

This weekend, our top sellers were Peach Swirl along with PB & Maple Cakes (see the oh-so-tempting photo above). There’s something to be said about a simple vanilla ice cream swirled with a juicy peach puree. PB & Maple Cakes stemmed from the Cranky Crew’s favorite breakfast – pancakes slathered with peanut butter and topped with maple syrup. Nate even had some this very morning. We chatted it up with John at Morley’s Maple Syrup a while back and we were excited to swirl his syrup into our peanut butter ice cream for this creation. Matt provided the pancakes (all leftover cakes went straight to our bellies).

As usual, follow along on Twitter and Facebook for flavor updates and where to grab our IC.
